Apple Zapped With Lawsuits

The latest lawsuit against Apple is a class-action suit claiming deception on the company’s iMac monitors.

They may get knocked down and get up again, but Apple keeps getting hit in the courts recently. Yesterday brought the fourth lawsuit filed against the company in March alone, seriously denting its good guy image.

This one focuses on Apple’s claims regarding the 20” monitors for its iMac computer. Filed as a class-action suit by the law company Kabateck Brown Kellner LLP, it claims that Apple deliberately hid the fact that the monitors are inferior to those of the 24” monitor and also to previous generations. Apple has reportedly claimed the monitors can display millions of colors, but, the law firm states, can in fact only display 262,144 colors, according to Information Week.
