Kantaris Media Player is a new media player based on code from Videolan client (VLC) and Bass audio library. Kantaris has a graphical user interface similar to that of Windows Media Player.

I tried Kantaris media player beta .13. Very impressive and well done.
But one thing I felt it should have is a audio volume slider and the ability to mute the speakers. Maybe its there and I have not yet found it, but if I am right I hope future versions will have the ability to mute and adjust volume.
