DVD Flick is a simple but at the same time powerful DVD Authoring tool. It can take several video files stored on your computer and turn them into a DVD that will play back on your DVD player, Media Center or Home Cinema Set.
DVD Flick is Open Source, meaning that anyone can download and view or modify the program’s source code. It also means that it is absolutely free of charge. Several external programs are used by DVD Flick to do the dirty work like encoding and combining of video material. All of these programs are free, some are Open Source too.

Desk Drive solves a really annoying problem. You pop a USB thumb drive or DVD into your computer and then you have to open Window’s Explorer and find the mapped drive or folder. DVDSubEdit allows you to visualize and make modifications to the subpics (subtitles or button highlights in menus) directly inside the VOB files, without the need to demux and remux the subpic stream..
What DVDSubEdit does:

VirtualDub is a video capture/processing utility for 32-bit Windows platforms (95/98/ME/NT4/2000/XP), licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). It lacks the editing power of a general-purpose editor such as Adobe Premiere, but is streamlined for fast linear operations over video. FreeRip is a Windows application that lets you save audio CD tracks to Wav, MP3, WMA, Ogg Vorbis or FLAC audio files (this process is known as ripping). FreeRIP is also a audio file and mp3 converter and it can convert audio files from one of the named formats to another. E.G. FreeRIP can convert a WAV file to MP3 or a FLAC file to MP3, and so on.

With this tool you can create a CD/XA Mode2 Form2 ISO Bridge type CD, which is similar to VCD but open to any content (not just MPEG files). This way you can benefit from the greater storage space VCD offers (800 MB in a single 80 min. CD).
The problem is, Windows exposes such files in a special way, that needs the presence of either a special DirectShow filter (such as the XCD reader filter below), or direct application support in order to be able to use these files.
