Google Adds Real-Time, Mobile Search Features

Google (GOOG) today unveiled some new search features, with a particular focus on real-time and social search, and mobile search.

The company has made significant improvement on real-time search. In a blog post, Google said that “immediately after conducting a search, you can see live updates from people on popular sites like Twitter and FriendFeed, as well as headlines from news and blog posts published just seconds before.” The company is partnering with Facebook, MySpace, FriendFeed, Jaiku and Identi.ca, adding their data to a previous deal with Twitter.
