Complete tool suite with easy-to-use interfaces

Intel Graphics Performance Analyzers (AKA Intel GPA) is a powerful, agile tool suite which will help you to utilize the full performance potential of Intel Integrated Graphics-based systems. GPA will collect graphics and system metrics from your application, allowing you to understand where in the system and in individual frames that time is being spent, and allowing you to perform ‘what-if’ experiments to estimate potential performance gains from optimizations. Optimizing your code for Integrated Graphics will increase your potential game title sales to the ever-increasing desktop mainstream and mobile gaming spaces. In 2008, mobile integrated chipset sales outsold discrete desktop graphics card sales for the first time in history. By 2013, mobile chipsets will outsell discrete graphics cards by more than 3 to 1 (Mercury Research, 2008). Our goal is to help you secure additional, opportunistic sell-through to this growing market, which will bolster the sales figures you might expect from your currently targeted (if distinct) sales demographic.

GPA is free to Visual Adrenaline members. You can join (at no cost.)

System Requirements

The product supports the Intel® G45 Express Chipset (aka EagleLake) and the Mobile Intel GM45 Express Chipset (aka Cantiga).

Supported operating systems are Microsoft Windows XP OS 32-bit with Service Pack 3, Microsoft Windows Vista OS 32-bit with Service Pack 1, and Microsoft Windows Vista OS 64-bit with Service Pack 1.

In order to use the full capabilities of the tool suite, the application being analyzed must utilize the DX9 graphics API. Non-DX9 applications will not be able to view graphics metrics in the System Analyzer, and will not be able to use the Frame Analyzer application.
