iPhone 3GS: no more jailbreaking

Apple has reportedly brought an end to jailbreaking the iPhone 3GS, with new models said to be immune to the efforts of crafty hackers. So what does that mean if you were hoping to grab a spanking new iPhone and open it up illegally?

Well, from now on, jailbreaking an iPhone 3GS is going to be a lot tougher. Word is that new models, which started shipping last week, cannot be opened up using the exploit favoured by the likes of the Dev–Team.
