iTunesRemote allows you to control iTunes on one computer from another computer, via a client program or (since Server 0.4.0) via a web browser.

Nowadays, there are many ways to get the sound from your Mac from one place to another, like Airport Express and streaming programs. But, even though your Mac’s sound comes out in another place, if you want even something as simple as pausing playback, you have to get up and go to your streaming computer. iTunesRemote allows you to take the controls with you, saving you the trip from your living room to the place your music computer is set up. This program is completely free of charge, just don’t sue me if you get fat :-).

iTunesRemote Server will allow any computer on your local network running either the iTunesRemote client or a web browser to control the iTunes program on the computer it’s running on. You will be able to control it from your laptop, your PDA, even from modern cellphones.

iTunesRemote Client will connect to the iTunesRemote server program, and allow you to control the iTunes on the server computer. Server 0.4.0 can also be accessed via a web browser.
