One-stop shop for hypochondriacs may feature diagnosis and treatment advice

Google is rumoured to be adding a health search to its list of services.

“Health has been an area of interest at Google for some time and we have been doing a variety of research in that area, including how to improve the quality of health-related search results,” said a Google spokesman.

However, the company refused to say whether it would be launching a dedicated health search. “We have nothing new to announce at this time,” the spokesman added.
