Microsoft Zune to hit stores on 14 November
Media player will have same price and capacity as Apple’s updated iPods
Microsoft has confirmed the launch date and retail price for its Zune portable media player.
The device will be launched on 14 November and will be priced at $249.99 for the 30GB version.
The price tag puts the Microsoft player in direct competition with Apple’s newly-updated 30GB iPod which retails for the same price.
Like SanDisk’s Sansa e200 series, the Zune will come pre-loaded with music and video content.
