Microsoft’s keen to get Windows running on XO Laptops

And they are currently busy adapting Windows XP to run on the OLPC laptops…

Microsoft reports progress on its endeavour to port Windows on the laptops provided by OLPC Foundation.

The One Laptop per Child (OLPC) Foundation plans to start producing the $188 machines in China next month and eventually manufacture millions a year for elementary school children in developing countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
