Nvidia announces APX 2500
Today, Nvidia announced the introduction of a new line of processors that they are aiming towards integrated devices. So-called “System on a Chip” units, under various names, offer an easier way to get lots of functionality in a small space. Nvidia’s APX 2500 “Application Processor” will be designed to process high-definition video in very small environments, particularly mobiles like smartphones and PDAs.
