YouTube seeks votes for best videos
New categories, new videos
YouTube is asking users to vote on their favourite videos of last year for the YouTube 2007 Video Awards.
The company has added five new categories (Best Short Film, Best Political Video, Best Sports Video, Best Eyewitness Video, and Best Instructional Video) to bring the total to 12.
“As you might imagine, whittling down any category to six videos was a gargantuan task and already we’ll say sorry to the hundreds/thousands of deserving content creators who didn’t get nominated,” YouTube said in a blog posting.
