About Stardock DeskScapes

DeskScapes is a program that allows users to have animated wallpaper on their Windows Vista desktop. It supports playing video as animated wallpaper, dynamically generated content as animated wallpaper, and more.

DeskScapes supports the new .Dream format. The .Dream format has been specifically designed to contain content intended to be used as animated wallpaper (making it much easier to find on the net than looking for video files). The .Dream format supports triggers, dynamic content, MPEG video, WMV video, and author information.

DeskScapes is available now as a free trial. The trial package includes dynamic and video dreams designed to enhance your PC experience.

The trial version will play the five bundled dreams and any additional dreams purchased from Stardock (free dreams available through Wincustomize and other sources still require the full version of DeskScapes).

DeskScapes supports nearly all versions of Windows including Vista 32-bit, Vista 64-bit in all flavors (Home Basic/Premium/Business/Enterprise) and 32-bit versions of Windows XP.
