ATI Catalyst 8.11 for Windows Vista

ATI is one of the first graphic providers to make a 32 and 64-bit driver that supports the Longhorn Display Driver Model (LDDM), the Microsoft Vista revolutionary graphic driver standard as well as the first to provide LDDM drivers for integrated graphics processors. By making LDDM drivers available prior to Windows Vista release, ATI provides developers with a stable, feature-enabled and performance-optimized platform for application development.

This driver release also includes the Catalyst Control Center. The Catalyst Control Center provides an extensive feature set that significantly enhances the end-user experience.

Catalyst 7.1 introduces the ability to playback Blu-ray and HD DVD protected high definition content under Windows Vista 32-bit edition (support for Windows Vista 64-bit edition will be available in a future Catalyst release), when used in combination with a software content player from vendors such as Cyberlink or Intervideo and an ATI Radeon X1000 series graphics accelerator (with HDCP support).
