About FastPictureViewer

is perfect for quick single-image, full-screen chimping across massive amounts of multi-megapixels images, such as those produced by modern top digital cameras, within the viewing comfort of your huge computer display.

FastPictureViewer helps you work faster by taking advantage of the power of your modern multi-core / multi-processor machine and the incredible speed of your latest DirectX graphic accelerator, all working in concert to speed up your digital workflow and viewing experience to unprecedented levels.

How about instant flip to the next image? Instant 1:1 mode switch? Single-click, background copy of your “keepers” to a preset folder of your choice, without disrupting your fast paced viewing? How about seamless multiple-subfolders browsing, in one single continuous sequence? Easy browsing over of tens of thousands of images in nested folders? Instant automatic detection of new images added anywhere to the folder tree, while you browse? Multi-monitor awareness and huge monitor support, with full-screen borderless kiosk mode available at the press of a key? FastPictureViewer does all that in style, with the slickest, most uncluttered user interface you’ve seen in ages. The freeware Home Basic edition can be used freely for personal, non-profit or educational uses.

FastPictureViewer was developed entirely on Windows Vista and tested successfully on Windows Vista (all editions), Windows Server 2008 and Windows 7. The program also runs on Windows XP SP3 (or XP SP2 with a small additional pre-requisite).
