YouTube Symphony Orchestra, A Chance To Play Carnegie Hall
Washington (dbTechno) – YouTube has announced the YouTube Symphony Orchestra, an online music competition of sorts that will culminate with musicians performing live at Carnegie Hall in April 2009.
The idea behind this is to try to bring together international musicians from around the world.
The YouTube Symphony Orchestra is a project that is being headed up by YouTube, along with the London Symphony Orchestra.
Users will download sheet music, and will perform The Internet Symphony, which was written by Tan Dun specifically for this purpose.
