3G iPhone to arrive mid-2008
Analysts delight in telling us things we already know
There is fresh speculation today about the imminent release of a 3G iPhone with an analyst claiming one will be introduced within the “next six months”.
Richard Gardner, an analyst with Citibank, said in a research note that to meet its target of 10 million iPhone sales by the end of 2008, Apple would be looking to gain greater presence in Europe and Asia.
Steve Jobs tight-lipped
“We believe that lack of 3G has been a significant headwind for iPhone in Europe where 3G is already pervasive,” Gardner is reported to have said.
