AMD prepares more price cuts
Never say never again
AMD IS PLANNING some more price cuts. The firm and its competitor have been aggressively competing on price for some time now, a situation which lead an AMD spokesman to announce last month that the firm had no plans to cut prices again.
Indeed, just a couple of weeks ago Gary Bixler, AMD’s director of marketing for North America, told EE Times: “This year we made it a point to provide the channel with what it wants, which is a predictable business, a stable business.”
