AMD releases Windows 7 graphics driver

Sunnyvale (CA) – AMD said its Catalyst 9.3 graphics driver is the first “unified driver” to support Microsoft’s upcoming operating system Windows 7, including compliance with the Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) 1.1.

As previous releases, the new 9.3 driver package supports the DirectX 10.1 API for Radeon 3000 and 4000 series graphics cards as well as the new Windows 7 Direct2D API to enhance the visualization of text and vector graphics.
