Apple Forced To Recall iPhone 3G Power Adapters
Boston (dbTechno) – Apple has issued a recall of iPhone 3G USB power adapters.
These adapters shipped out with every single iPhone 3G in the U.S., Japan, Canada, Mexico, and elsewhere.
The adapters sold with the original iPhone are not impacted by the recall though.
Apple put out a recall notice on Friday, stating “Apple has determined that under certain conditions the new ultra compact Apple USB power adapter’s metal prongs can break off and remain in a power outlet, creating a risk of electric shock.â€Â
