Google Mobile App hits Windows Mobile, lacks voice search

Chicago (IL) – Google is showing a lot of love for Microsoft’s Windows Mobile platform lately. Websites haven’t even cooled off yet from the search giant’s introduction of the Google Street View service for Windows Mobile devices that brings street-level photographs of major cities to the palm of your hand, but Google is revealing another treat for users of its own mobile platform. Google Mobile App, a convenient one-stop shop for all popular Google services, is now available to Windows Mobile, in addition to iPhone and RIM platforms. Unfortunately, the current implementation lacks a voice search capability — which, to date, remains Google’s exclusive treat for only iPhone users.
