Mac clone maker goes up for sale
in operation for just three weeks, a company specializing in Mac clones is already putting itself up for sale, according to a website notice. Open Tech says it is now willing to sell the entire company, including branding, trade secrets and website, for a price of just $50,000. This amount can even be paid via PayPal, an extremely unusual move in the business world.
Both the sale value and use of PayPal may suggest that the company was in fact a small-time personal venture, or even that it had no genuine, long-term intentions.
