Microsoft admits OneCare antivirus is far from perfect
Microsoft’s OneCare antivirus scanner hasn’t been having the best of months. Not only will the software chuck your entire inbox under certain circumstances, but it also finished dead last in security researcher Andreas Clementi’s comparison of 17 antivirus products earlier this month. Now, on the heels of both issues, one senior Microsoft manager has admitted that OneCare shouldn’t have been released at all in its present state.
