Microsoft code name “Geneva” is an open platform for simplified user access based on claims. This release consists of three components:

 Ã‚· Geneva Framework for .NET developers,
 Ã‚· Geneva Server for IT Pros, and
 Ã‚· Windows CardSpace Geneva for users.
