Microsoft to issue six patches

Microsoft will issue six patches to fix vulnerabilities in the Windows operating system on Tuesday. Microsoft regularly sends out security updates on the second Tuesday of every month.

November will be a quieter month for the Microsoft security team – last month 10 patches were issued to fix 26 vulnerabilities in the Windows operating system and other Microsoft software products. It had planned to issue 11 fixes, but one was canned at the last minute.
