Rumor: Internet Explorer 8 beta coming by year end
Little is known about what features and enhancements will be included in Internet Explorer 8. As Jeremy reported back in May, Microsoft is placing most of its focus on RSS, CSS, AJAX, and microformats. While the company has yet to give a specific release date for the new browser, website TheHotfix.net is reporting that the company has given a rough time frame for the first beta.
According to the site, the first beta of Internet Explorer 8 will be made available when Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) ships later this year.
