Sony Ericsson is planning to launch a music download service to let people download music to their handsets.

The mobile phone maker will launch the new service, called M-Buzz, for its line of Walkman phones in October.

Sony Ericsson owners will be able to download tracks from the PlayNow service on their phone menu and from M-Buzz website.

The service, which will at first offer a limited number of artists and bands each month, will also feature videos, biographies and gig schedules.
