TomTom for iPhone now available for OS 3.0 users

iPhone OS 3.0 users can now download TomTom for iPhone, featuring turn-by-turn navigation and IQ Routes technology.

While in-car GPS and multimedia systems are increasing, there’s no doubt that phones with large screens such as the iPhone offers a potential for quicker market penetration. Starting today, iPhone users can download TomTom for iPhone via Apple’s App Store here.

iPhone OS 3.0 is required for this application, but compatibility with the iPod touch and the original iPhone should be coming soon. The TomTom app for iPhone including map of U.S. & Canada costs $100. Additionally, the app with Western Europe and UK & Ireland maps costs 80 GBP and 60 GBP, respectively.
