Via Envy24 Audio controller family driver – Integrated support in this driver includes 8 channel outputs; stereo expander to experience 2-channel formats using a full 5.1 speaker set-up; individual speaker volume controls; speaker configuration utility; advanced features to maximize recording quality; and full digital I/O controls. Motherboard and sound card manufacturers adapt VIA hardware and software in their designs; however, so VIA advises that for the best quality and features, you should obtain the latest driver from your sound card or motherboard vendor.
To install the driver, save any unsaved work and close all applications then click on the driver download link (above). Choose the “Save File” option and save it to your folder under Windows where you file your drivers. Unzip the file. (To unzip the file right click and highlight “Extract All”) Then double click on the Setup.exe file to run the installation program. Follow the prompts and restart at the end of the installation.
